| Favorite School Memory | Hey, it was all memorable, the good and bad. Too many stories to share. Eddie Swanson and Mike Steele, remember in 5th and 6th grade, bloody knuckles with a deck of cards, in homeroom at the beginning of the day? Joe Shertzer, how about at East Hills when we were in the bathtroom, and the sink came off the wall somehow, and you were standing there holding it so the pipes would not break. A very few of you folks remember, from 5th and 6th grade separate classes, being pulled out of class by Mr. Bosworth and Mr. Serbin to go to the gym to play kill with those red balls. They could not beat us! I think! Oh, and to top it off, there's that senior year broken ankle thing, that if I would have listened to my baseball coach, Mr. Bosworth, who lived across the street from me, who told me not to play offseason basketball because baseball was in season, well I would not have destroyed my ankle at that geistown school outside court. On a fast break, to the high rim, over 10 foot, Billy Collier and Wille Hayes, and others, chashing me, I tripped when I was going up for the slam dunk, and twisted my ankle while jumping up. End of baseball season, end of a lot of things. (Afterward, Billy Felton drove me home in his dad's red vet), yet my father never believed me that I ruined my ankle playing basketball, he thought maybe I fell down a rocky hill or something.
