| About Me | After many dead ends I finally landed a job woring at a diving shop in Tigard. later after getting diving and equipment experience I moved to Hawaii and lived there for nearly 16 years. I worked at a company that made hollow tile blocks (building blocks for houses). After that I started working for the navy welding/building and operating their handling system for a deep diving ROV (teathered robot), When that was finally turned over to the sub-dev group I switch over to work for the University of Hawaii in their manned submersible program. I stayed there for 10 years doing everything from support diver to piloting the submersibles. In 2000 I went to New Zealand to re-build and class a small submersible for a tourism venture. When that was finished in 2002 I returned to the states and started working on a submersible project for Jim Cameron for his "Aliens of the Deep" where I got my 15 seconds of fame, (check it out). At the conclusion of the filming I moved to Tucson arizona and started working for a company that is involved in building a device to remove greenhouse gasses form the air (CO2 capture).
