About Me	JIm and I just celebrated our 25th anniversary in June. We were married 3 weeks after I graduated from OSU. 2 months later we found out that were expecting our first child, so our kids are all adults already. We raised our kids in Redmond and chased them around the state as they participated in sports and band at RHS. Our 2 sons have graduated from college and our daughter is a junior at Linfield. We spend a lot of time with our kids, so the emply nest syndrome is not so bad at all! In 2003 I represented our state as Oregon Teacher of the Year. I believe I was chosen for my leadership in the use of technology in the classroom. I enjoy being involved at the state, regional and local levels of education. I love teaching and currently teach yearbook and 7th grade language arts. It has been a pleasure to have children of RHS classmates, my own kids, nieces, nephews and godchildren in my classroom. I am one of 3 founders of Deschutes Edge Charter School, which is a public charter school housed at the new Elton Gregory Middle School building.
