| About Me | After 40 years as a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner, I stopped working a year and a half ago, but am reluctant to call it "retirement". A "pioneer" in the Nurse Practitioner field, we worked hard to open doors for newer NPs, and are now independent health care providers. I have been honored to present at a national conference, have precepted both medical students and family practice residents, developed wellness programs for a few businesses, developed many practice protocols, and served on various hospital committees. It has been a fulfilling and at times challenging career! I am an active volunteer with Braddock Bay Raptor Research, and a member of the owl survey team during spring migration.
