About Me	After high school, I went to Northwest Missouri State University where I got my both my Bachelor of Science in Education degree (Social Science—History) and my M.A. in History. While at Northwest, I served as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Instructor for a Freshman Seminar section, while working fulltime as a police officer. In my current position as the Assistant Dean of Student Life at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, I teach the Chancellor’s Leadership Class, coordinate on-campus leadership development activities, coordinate UNK’s “Blue and Gold Welcome Week” for Freshmen orientation, and am UNK’s Judicial Officer. On campus, I also serve as the faculty advisor for Circle K (Collegiate Kiwanis), as the liaison for both the Collegiate Veteran’s Organization and Cooperative Campus Ministries. Currently, I am the immediate past-President of UNK’s Staff Senate, the Vice President of the Nebraska Driver’s and Safety Education Association (NDSEA), am a member of the UNK Emergency Operations Team, as well as NASPA, ASJA, the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, and serve on the Board of Directors for the Dobytown Kiwanis Chapter, Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity, and on the Advisory Board for the Kearney Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional’s Network and am a Youth Gr...(read more)
