Favorite School Memory	I remember most about band.
About Me	After high school, I attended Hope College from 1978-1982, and graduated with a BS degree in Chemistry. I then went to the University of Minnesota, where I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry in 1986. I also met my wife at Minnesota, so this was a very nice time. After Minnesota, I did two years of postdoctoral work at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Then, I started my job at Wayne State University in 1988. Our daughter was born in 1988 in Salt Lake City, and our son was born in 1990 in Grosse Pointe. We lived in Grosse Pointe for eight years, and then moved to Bloomfield Hills in 1996 after my wife got a job there. We have enjoyed Bloomfield Hills a lot. Both of our children have attended Detroit Country Day School, and have received excellent educations. My son is currently a senior at Country Day, and my daughter graduated in 2006.
