About Me	After college, I lived, worked and studied in Boston for 5 years and then moved to Los Angeles to practice law. I returned to San Diego in 1992 with my husband, Alan Bersin. We worked and raised our children here for 20 years. I was appointed to the Superior Court as a judge in 2003 and served for 10 years before retiring and moving to Washington, DC to work in the Justice Department, where I was the Director of the Office for Access to Justice.
