About Me	Just been sitting around waiting for the phone to ring. My almost first job out of college was getting elected to the Piedmont City Council and becoming the Mayor. I skipped a generation and got out parents to vote for me. I have also been a county commissioner, active in regional government and served in three administrations in Sacramento. I have been involved for years in running my family's business, and in more recent years fighting off my relatives and their lawyers as a trustee and executor. It is true that death does bring out the vultures. Also, greed and stupidity are a toxic combination. For the past decade I have spent a large amount of my time taking care of my Dad (now deceased) and Mom (age 95) because it is the right thing to do.
