About Me	I was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama. I moved around a lot growing up--first grade in Elba, Alabama; second grade in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; third, fourth, and fifth grade in Enterprise, Alabama; sixth and seventh grade in Slidell, Louisiana; first half of eighth grade in Sanford, North Carolina; rest of eighth and most of ninth grades in Roxboro, North Carolina; rest of ninth, all of 10th, and first half of 11th grades in Calhoun, Georgia; and remainder of high school in Bremen, Georgia. After graduatimg from Auburn in 1975, I lived in Tifton, Georgia for 10 years, where I worked for WTIF, Georgia Agrirama, and the Tifton Gazette.
