About Me	I graduated from the University of Maryland in June 1976, married one week later. My scholarship was from the Army, so while I was considered active duty while in college, once graduated I had to serve 3 more years. I was stationed at Fort Ord, CA, where I had my first two children. Moved to LaSalle, IL in 1979 and to Olathe, KS in 1980. My third child was born in 1985, Unfortunately, divorced in 1989. Mychildren are grown and doing well. My daughter is actually in nursing school. I hve been working in pediatric nursing most of my career. In 1987 I completed my masters, and in 1996 received a post-masters certificate as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I am so very fortunate in that I absolutely love what I do, and plan to keep on until I am no longer able. I have been in the Kansas City area since 1980, so it is home for me.
