About Me	Retired from the National Park Service -- worked at Glen Canyon NRA near Page & Fire Island NS near Long Island, NY. Left Page in 1967 for Texas A&M University, then NY, where Parke was born, then IL, where Cash was born (and Grant traveled a lot from NPS Chicago Field Office), then Iowa, where Shane was born (& we lived in historic West Branch, where Grant was Superintendent of Herbert Hoover NHS, then Supt. of Pictured Rocks NL here for 20 years before he retired March, 2001.) I've been a Christian book distributor, aerobic dance instructor, the Lord told me to coordinate the 1983 Year of the Bible Readathon over loudspeakers in the streets of downtown Munising for National Bible Week; and He told me to set up a meeting to start a Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship chapter, which began functioning here the day of the meeting!; He sent me to Hawaii twice, all expenses paid (4 times, total); camping, hiking, canoeing with the family; drove across the U.S. many times -- I...(read more)
