About Me	I graduated from Overton and went on to study Literature at Webster University, creative writing at the Great Smokies Writing Program at UNCA and completed a degree in Creative Writing at Midlands Tech, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I am a Parents’ Choice Gold winner, a three time NYC Big Book Award winner and Independent Press Award winner, a Moonbeam Book Award winner & an IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award winner. I have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize three times and I am a Finalist in the Brighthorse Book Prize, William Faulkner Fiction Award, the Thomas Wolfe Fiction Award and the Lee Smith Novel Prize. My work has been published extensively in over forty literary journals including: The Literary Review, The Merrimack Review, Emrys Journal, The MacGuffin, Sand Hill Review, & the Emerson Review.
