About Me	Life I moved around the country over the past 20 years. College in New Mexico, beach bum in Southern California (Huntington Beach), got a real job in So. Cal, then moved to Memphis for a year. Could not take living in Memphis, so I migrated to Seattle for five years. I gave up the Northwest and moved to Silicon Valley for three years, and in 2008, I moved to Dallas, TX. I spent some time in Asia while based out of Seattle, and would go back to live in Singapore or Hong Kong any time. Workplace After high school and college, I bounced around Southern California trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. I eventually wound up managing new product launches, excess inventory liquidations, and distribution contracts for large companies throughout the US. I left that world in 2000 and went to work for Microsoft managing supply chain services supporting product launches and supply chain re-engineering programs. My team launched all new Microsoft products in North America, including all Xbox titles. I spent the better part of 2003 and 2004 in Asia developing supply chain opportunities to grow the market. At the end of 2004, I left Microsoft for Intuit. My team managed all Product Launches, Logistic Services, Strategic Commodities, Forecasting & Planning, and New Program/Capabilities Integration. I traveled about 75% of the time over the past six years, so I technically lived in hotels and airports throughout North America, with the main destination being Chicago.
