About Me	Hello everyone. I have moved away from Alaska, and I now own a house in Black River, New York. I was married for the second time in October of 2003 to my friend, Donald (Donnie) Doherty. He is a Sergeant FIrst Class with the 1-87 Infantry Unit at Ft. Drum. I now have five kids; Owen age 9 (11-06-98)he lives up in Alaska with his father, Shannon age 7 (10-10-00), Bridget age 4 (11-23-03), Eleanor age 2 (10-19-05) and Molly (3-18-07) Some of you may know, but I gave birth to a son, Samuel Charles, on October 9th 2004 but he passed away a few hours later. He was born 3 months (15 weeks) early and was just too small. Eleanor was also very early she was born at 28 weeks, and has had some complications; weighed only 2 pounds 5 oz, patent ductus artery surgery (surgery on the outside of the heart), intraventricular hemorrhage grade 4 (bleeding inside the brain) and periventricular leukomalacia (damage and softening of the white brain matter). From that she has developed cerebral palsy. But with all of that we will just have to wait and see how her body reacts. Molly was also born early, but is for the most part doing very well. So I’m a stay at home mom, and I’m going to school at Jefferson Community College (part of SUNY) for my AAS in nursing. For right now school is only part-time because of the baby. I love being an Army wife, but some times it is really hard. Donnie is home for the time being. When Donnie retires from the army we plan on moving out to his farm in Ione, Oregon, which we are renting out for right now. Me on a farm, I’m still not to sure about it but we have the land, and the house. It should be enough room for all kids to run around. Well I hope all is well with eve...(read more)
