| About Me | Officially retired in 2010; most of the time since then spent on special projects in public health. On August 18th, I arrived back in MI to be closer to my oldest daughter and her boy/girl twins who turned 26 on September 11th. We bought a house less than a mile from her (essentially in the same neighborhood) in Dexter, MI, minutes away from Ann Arbor where I went to college and met my husband. We loved MA so it is bittersweet, but I am loving being near family again. We are still unpacking boxes as of 10/27/21, but are getting settled in. I am once again retired and planning to keep it that way. My new job is to attend the high school events of my grandchildren and to help my daughter. It will be a lot easi...(read more) |
