| About Me | I love coaching girls and boys biddy basketball. I have coached a total of 31 teams. 19 made it to the championship game of which 14 teams were champs and 5 teams were runner-up. Coached flag football, 3 teams and had one runner-up. Coached Girls softball ,4 teams had one championship. My favorite job was Supervisor at Westinghouse in the 80's. I was also a Supervisor at the Advocate with USA-Today newspaper and got the Most Improved Print Site, Ace Award which Im proud of. I served as President of the Licking County Vietnam Veterans of America chapter 55 and was on the Color Guard which was at the dedication of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, 1982. I was President of church council at Holy Trinity Lutheran for 3 years and Sunday School Teacher 3rd thru 6th grade for 7 years. I really enjoy ridding motorcycles in the summer with my friends. Cookouts, bondfires, cranking out some homemade Ice cream and enjoying being with my family and grandkids. At Christmas playing Santa Clause for the grandkids and our family Xmas party. In the winter sitting around the woodbuner and relaxing with a shot of Bushmills Irish Wiskey and a good Cuban cigar. I love to travel. I have been in all 50 states with Alaska and Hawaii being my favorites, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Bahamas, Guam, Philippines and of course Vietnam. I have been very lucky in life. Mom always said the hurryer you go the behinder you get. Dad always said a smile goes along ways in life. My saying is when were gone our childern live on through us. I'M Irish, love people. I am a Vietnam Veteran. Was in Vietnam 1970/1971 with the Army's First Cav. Div. airmoble as a doorgunner. Been married to Julie 45 years and have three daughters and 6 grandkids. Going to College while working full time at Westinghouse 20 years and raising three kids was one of the hardest things I have ever done and was one of the most rewarding, makeing Supervisor. Of the 12 yrs at Communicolor working 3rd shift was no picnic. 9 year straight. The morning beers were there waiting, if you know what I mean?
