About Me	Right out of high school, I worked in radio for several years as a Radio Announcer. I moved to North Carolina to explore my radio career (and the beaches) more thoroughly. Late in 2003 my father became ill and I moved to Maine to spend more time with him. I then began working in a nursing home and loved it. In 2004 I began pursuing nursing through Adult Education, then re-enrolled in college upon the advice of my supervisor. I can't speak highly enough about UMFK or the nursing field. Currently I work full time at a local hospital and per diem at a nursing home. I met the man of my dreams and got married in August of 2007 in Calais, ME, in front of a lighthouse.
