| About Me | I'm old. The years sure have flown by. My wife Carolyn and I retired and left San Francisco in 2002, after spending 35 years in the Bar business. We bought a home on the Island of Molokai. We stayed there for 4 years, before moving to Austin, Texas in 2006. Our intention being to spend half the year in Hawaii and half in Texas. My sons and my grand kids all live here now, as well as my brother Mike and his family. It has become very hard to tear ourselves away to get back to Hawaii. We now have a condo in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. That is only a 2 1/2 hour flight away, so we go there a lot. Now we have 3 places to live, but no money so of course retirement went out the window and we're back to work. I guess we just couldn't stand prosperity but life is good. ...(read more) |
