About Me	I was born in Owensboro, KY in 1954, moved to Kansas at an early age of 2. Attended Seneca Public Grade School and Nemaha Valley High School graduating in 1972. Went to Highland Community Junior College in the fall but dropped out at the end of the semester and joined the USAF in Feb. 1973. I worked on A-7D aircraft as a Weapons Technician. I got out of the Air Force in Feb. 1977 then married my wife, Debra, on July 23, 1977. Went to work for my father at Ray's Auto Supply in Seneca. I managed the store until after my fathers death in 1990. We sold the business in 1993. I began working as the Assistant Nemaha County Emergency Preparedness Director in 1979. I was promoted to Director and was State of Kansas Certified in 1986 and held that position until I retired in 1995. I worked for the City of Seneca Ambulance Service from 1980 until 1996. I was a Kansas Certified Emergency Medical Techician and Ambulance Captain for the service. In 1981 I joined the Kansas Air National Guard, 190th Air Refueling Group, as a Firefighter. I worked for the Seneca Bowling Alley from 1988 to 1994. I was an assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 71 in Seneca for several years. I went to work for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in April of 1994 and am still working there today. I also am an Advisor for Aviation Explorer Post 8 in Topeka. It is the oldest continually chartered Aviation Explorer Post in the United States at 67 years and still going strong.
