| About Me | Hello! I'm Jeff. The ones who knew me back in the day knew me as the Evil Knevil wild one. Racing around on my dirtbikes and fast cars.. When I was 18yrs old in 1975 I stood on top of a hood of a car and dove into a 5' pool. It was the first day of summer, and I broke my neck. I thought I'd be like Evil Knevil who was always breaking bones and he'd recover. After two weeks I was told the damage was permanent. For the first two years I lived in nursing homes.. then I started living with families. I used the eraser side of a pencil to work the remote and play video games to pass the time. I was bored so I started painting for fun. I took a class at Micheals and someone suggested I send in my work to the Mouth and Foot painters Association, in Switzerland! I sent three paintings on a ship and joked I was waiting for my ship to come in~ I was accepted as a student member! Over the years I have moved up in the association as my work has improved. I am now a full member of the MFPA and enjoy traveling all over the world to artists conventions and exhibitions. I've been to Shanghai, Vienna Austria, Portugal, Mexico, and other places. My work is on exhibitions all over the world and printed on cards and calendars. Our association does not accept charity and we are all successful disabled artists. I enjoy a comfortable income and live in the house of my dreams. I have a caregiver /art assistant (Julie) and her two children who live with me. I have nurses aides who come daily to get me going whom I've become very good friends with. I do appreciate all the faithful good friends I have who have kept in touch all these years!
