About Me	After law school went back to London to live for 16 years; have also lived in Amsterdam and Melbourne (Australia). Met my NZ-dentist husband on a blind date in London, and have been in NZ since 1994. After doing work in law and technology, am now pursuing my passion, tourism - Terry and I do about two major cruises a year. I have a Masters in Tourism from Otago University in Dunedin (NZ) and in April, 2018 finished my PhD at Griffith University (Queensland) (extramurally) - in Urban and Regional Studies. My thesis was on the political dysfunction and debate surrounding Auckland's (NZ) cruise infrastructure. My work is in the area of leveraging cruise tourism as a mechanism for economic development, and I continue to write in the area of cruise tourism.
