About Me	I graduated from Western Michigan in 1960 and married a fruit grower from southwest Michigan where we lived on a 450 acre farm. I taught for four years after we were married and then left teaching when our first daughter was born. In conjunction with the farm we had a retail fruit market (Wicks' AppleHouse) to which we added a restaurant, bakery, gift shop and glass enclosed cider mill. I operated this with about 20-25 employees and my husband operated the farm. We were a seasonal business with most of our customers coming from the Chicago area. We sold the farm in 1998 and Wicks' AppleHouse in 2001. In 2003 we bought a home in Tucson, Az and now winter there and spend the summer in Michigan. We have done extensive traveling, epecially after our retirement, and are enjoying every day of retirement. We are both very actve in our church and my husband works part time in the summer.
