| Favorite School Memory | Hard to choose--too many! At the time I couldn't wait to get out & move on. Now I look back fondly. I had a lot of fun in American Studies in 11th grade with Mssrs. Blackerby & Corsberg. The other day it was in the news that a teacher in Georgia was suspended because for her class, 3 students dressed in KKK robes for a video they were filming. We did the same thing for a skit we performed in Am. Studies! The only guy in our group we could get to do it was this kid who had transferred from Kentucky. | About Me | What have i done since high school--Wow, do you have a couple days? --Short version--It took me longer than expected, but I graduated from UCLA in '85, went to a lower tier law school, but it was enough to get jobs first on Maui and then in Honolulu as a deputy prosecutor, where I spent 10 years prosecuting criminal cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies, including drugs, assaults, robberies, burglaries, homicides and domestic violence. I worked a few years after that in civil litigation, employment law and commercial/industrial real estate management before serious health setbacks rendered me disabled and unable to work. I am fortunate that my wife is a successful attorney in private practice (she is also a former prosecutor), so between her job and my social security, we get by in a place with an extremely high cost of living.
