| Favorite School Memory | Our Class of 1972 was the first to attend and graduate at our newly built school Montgomery High. There was no grass yet around the Gym and we took pictures standing on dirt. |
| About Me | I began working at North Island while attending Southwestern College. I met my husband of 44 years at that college. We married after a year. I became a Full time mom to our 5 children. When my youngest started school I went to work as a preschool teacher in Poway CA. Was a girl scout leader and help with my son's boy scout troop. We then started to host Japanese students in our home. We enjoyed them so much that I then began to work for the organization FIU to teach Japanese students English. I would also find them families to stay with and plan their activities while they were here. I did 12 groups and earned a free trip to Japan for 2 weeks. Sight seeing and hotel and food for the 1st week was free and then I stayed at several of my japanese students home, then with my Japanese girlfriend from college on my 2nd week. It was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Then my husband job moved us for 2 yrs to Washington State. His job brought us back to Manteca, CA and now we are in Lathrop, CA where he has retired. I have been a Bilingual Aide at Sequoia Elem. School for 9 yrs. and then became a Paraprofessional II in a SDC classroom for 3 yrs. Our children have grown and some are married and have their own children.
