About Me	Why all the confusion about the name? Some people know me as Nikki Baxter (H.S. friends and prior) and some know me as Nikki Haker (college and beyond). I took my mom's maiden name when I went to college. I grew up in Atlanta and spent 8 years in DC. I met the best the best people in the world while I was there. I spent a lot of time at Tracks, Vth Column, Platinum, Buzz, Five, 80s night at Heaven and Hell, Blue Room, Chi Cha Lounge, or studying in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Currently, I'm living in Minneapolis. It drives me nuts to waste time or to be unproductive, so while I might watch Nip/Tuck and football, you'll rarely find me in front of the boob tube. You're more likely to find me reading or out with my friends. I am adventurous and I love meeting new people, visiting new places, and experiencing life. My friends say I am honest, responsible, giving, thoughtful, and understanding. I love my friends BECAUSE of the quirks, not IN SPITE OF them - their quirks are what make them interesting and extraordinary. I am hopelessley optimistic, turning lemons into lemonade, or better yet, into lemon meringue pie. Did I mention I love to cook? I always have music playing (usually techno), but sometimes you'll also hear industrial or 80's syth pop blasting from my stereo (usually when I'm on a cleaning binge). I will listen to just about anything, with a few exceptions - I can't seem to get into gospel, Celine Dion, Michael Bolton, Gloria Estefan, and a few others.
