About Me	David McMurry is the Manager, Global Administration, Public Health, and Special Projects for Chevron’s Health & Medical Services Group. His career with Chevron began in 1982 where he has held positions of varying responsibility from Corporate Public Relations, Corporate Philanthropy, including leading Chevron’s initial work with HIV/AIDS organizations in the early 1990s. He has also worked in Corporate Branding, Advertising, Production and Communications. David also led the company’s environmental contributions programs, the Chevron Conservation Awards Program, the Yosemite Volunteer Project and Chevron’s Arts and HIV/AIDS funding. Appointed to his current role 3 years ago, he was responsible for managing Chevron’s implementation of their global HIV/AIDS Policy in 180 countries. He has since led Chevron’s efforts in building a sustainability plan for HIV/AIDS, Malaria and TB. He is currently working with a Chevron team that is implementing a Global Cardiovascular Health Program that will be available to all Chevron employees and their dependents. David is the past Vice Chair of Project Open Hand and Vice President of the Board of the East Bay Conservation Corps.
