About Me	Upon graduating from Killian in 1984, I attended Florida A&M University where I majored in Mathematics Education. Upon graduating from FAMU in 1991, I landed a teaching position which I held for eight years @ Deerlake Middle School in Tallahassee. I also taught algebra courses @ Tallahassee Community College. I relocated to Miami and taught mathematics for seven additional years. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership in 2004 and became an Assistant Principal in 2006. I was one of three assistant principals at Miami Edison Middle School where "There is nothing GREATER than being a HIGH ACHIEVING raider." Formerly, I was a District Administrator and the Vice Principal at Booker T. Washington Senior High School. I was an Assistant Principal at Miami Killian Senior High School then Summer 2017 I was moved to Gateway Environmental K-8 Learning Center. In June 2022, I became eligible to become a School Principal. I am single and I have no children. On April 18, 2009, I was the 60th line member to cross the burning sands into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. I am a member of the Miami Alumnae Chapter.
