About Me	I am introspective, sometimes shy and insecure, other times? not so much. I like to be kind; to do just a bit more than expected and make someone smile. I believe God has given me a heart for this. The condensed history: My family moved alot--about 15 times before coming to Rochester in 1971. I started High school at Rochester (Mayo High) and was drummer in Southtown Singers. Then my family moved again, to Cottage Grove, MN in '77. Fortunately, I was able to be in band and jazz band, and found a Contemporary Christian group that needed a drummer (Freedom Singers) with whom I shared God's word through college (1983). Graduated from Park High Class of 79. Went to UofM, BS degrees in ChemE and MetE; met and later engaged to Sue Spicer, joined Air Force as a 2Lt for 'just one tour' at Laughlin AFB, honor graduate of my Bioenvironmental Engineering class '84. In May '85, I married Sue, and she joined me in TX. In '86, Amy arrived (what a precious girl), ('87) moved to Eglin AFB, FL, welcomed Katie (another sweetheart) ('90). In 1991, I rededicated my life to Christ at Niceville UMC. We were very active in church and music. Later, we moved to Charleston AFB, where we had Michael ('93) (a sweet boy). I was selected to Air Force Institute of Technology Master's Program, and we briefly returned to Cottage Grove as I attended U of MN School of Public Health (for MS in Environmental Health) '95-'97. Then, it was back to Eglin Air Force base, joined by our cat Buster, got my CIH, moved to Little Rock AR to finish 20-year career in 2004. We moved back to MN to be near family (as I promised Sue in 1985!), where I spent a cold winter job-searching. I now work for Xcel Energy Corporate Safety as a Senior Industrial Hygienist. Along the way, I've been blessed to be able to sing or play drums most everywhere I've been--even when I was stationed overseas in the desert! I'm getting nostalgic about all the years since high school. I hope you remember me as someone who always gave of himself--with a smile and with humor. I invite you to write me...gweiby...(read more)
