Ecclesiastes 3:11 Still discovering me, everyday. It's an awesome, humbling journey. I love the fact that every moment is a teachable (or learnable) moment. My absolute number one priority is to be a disciple of Jesus, and a student of all that He teaches. I don't always get it right, but I wake everyday bathed in His grace and mercy, with a heart to follow Him. If I should say anything unkind, unloving, boastful, or selfish, please account it to me in my gross imperfection; I'm a work in progress. Conversely, if I should say anything true, or right, or pure, or pleasing, or if I should do anything of high regard or excellence in any way, you may account it to my Lord who even now is working to bring to completion the excellent work that He has begun in me. I enjoy the life of the mind and heart. I believe that it's where everything that we are and everything that we create begins. I don't believe in the innate goodness of man, but I believe that in each of us there is an intense longing for "right" - that is, regardless of faith, religion, or philosophy, all people have the basic conception that this world could be a better place. We have the absolute knowledge that somewhere, something in this world went very wrong; a mortal wound was inflicted, and we yearn to heal it. We alone, however, are not equal to this task. Never.
