About Me	I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston but did not complete a degree; decided instead to start working as a musician right away which I did in Boston/New England. I needed a new direction in my mid 20's so I started doing home care for elderly and people with disabilities which led to Occupational Therapy. I worked at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Gaylord Hospital (both in CT) and learned a lot. I was able to use music in treatment a lot and all of this brought me back to doing music for a living! I have my own teaching business and perform regularly (I play guitar and sing). I play in a rock band, a duo and do solo gigs. I have the most fun performing children's music solo and with my duo- it's a blast! I'm trying to find time to do more writing of music. On a personal level, I met and married a great guy who is a research scientist. He loves science, music, sports and our pets. Health issues got in the way of having kids so our pets...(read more)
