About Me	About myself, I would rather read than watch a movie, a night in rather than going clubbing, rubbing elbows with dignitaries than hanging after a concert, perusing galleries than watching reality television, being myself rather than being labeled, and living my life than vicariously through the internet. During high school I was an amateur anthropologist, moving from group to group, people watching, but never really fitting in. There was too much anomoisty to stick people. I focused inwardly so much so that my senior year I stood on the outside looking in rather than take part in things that held no interest to me. I continued my life going to college in Pittsburgh, and moving away from home and never returned. I was determined to study something fun that was for me, not for others. I put myself through school with the moral support of my husband, grandmother, and mother-in-law. I learned my grandmother had cancer I pushed myself and finished early and returned to Ohio to help even though I had no strong desire to go back, I wanted to be with her during that time. While in Ohio I was a caregiver, a teacher, an artist, a web designer, and a corporate worker. My grandmother passed away and not long afterwards my grandfather did as well. Since there was no real reason keeping me there, I applied for graduate school and relocated to Maryland. Currently working at an international non-profit organization, continuing my freelance photo restoration and web design work, and even occasionally my own personal art I have returned to graduate school again after learning where I am finally choosing to career path.
