About Me	In college, I worked in the art department of a publishing company and then interned at an education publishing company I then freelanced for for several years, mainly workbooks, but I did publish a couple of real books. I wrote for The Oklahoma Daily and was a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund intern at Newsday in New York. After college I was assistant editor at Mother Earth News magazine, then switched to public relations, working as communications coordinator at Dana College in Blair, Neb., and then director of PR at College of Saint Mary in Omaha. Now I'm a graduate student at OU, teaching PR Publications labs and managing the Oklahoma Scholastic Media office and staff, and doing freelance PR projects like magazines, brochures, web sites, etc. I&#...(read more)
