Favorite School Memory	I enjoyed just being there. I may not have been popular but I stil enjoyed it! I liked school. It was fun to get out, go to school and just be. About Me	I have no children of my own but am raising my brothers kids. 2 boys and a girl. Ages 14, 7, 5. I have had them 4 years now. I was married for almost 10 years before getting divorced. I worked at Shands teaching Hospital in Gainesville, Fl( Go Gators) for 12 years before moving to Tn to get my brother's kids out of foster care. I have now been at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for 4 years. I work with the kids that have cancer on the Hematology/Oncology floor. I have worked with this population my entire career and love working with these kids. They are special beyond words and fight their disease with a bravery like no other! And contrary to belief it is not always sad. There are many shining moments of laughter and joy. It is a very rewarding career even amongst the tears. I also enjoy raising my brother's kids, as I was unable to have my own. I do have a stepson from my previous marriage that I consider like my own. He is also going into nursing and lives in Gainesville, Fl. I stay pretty busy with the kids and work. I work three 12 hour shifts a week and keep busy with the kids.
