About Me	I got a BFA in Journalism and spent my first 15 years as a professional photographer, writer and editor. I worked mostly for non-profit organizations and schools. I then decided that I did not want to work for non-profit organizations any more and changed careers. I got a job with a local home builder. When he went out of business, I started my own company and have owned a small residential construction company for the past 24 years. I have also held an active real estate broker's license during that period. The good news is that when you are self employed you can never be fired.
