About Me	Went to U. of Illinois, was sports editor of the Daily Illini. Started a newspaper career that took me to the Suburban Trib and to the Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph as a sports writer, then the Waukegan News-Sun and Chicago Sun-Times as a copy editor. Starting writing a weekly column on casino games in 1994, which now is syndicated to various newspapers and Web sites. I also write for a number of magazines, and have had a half dozen books published. I host one-minute segments on WBBM-AM radio in Chicago, and do a weekly one-hour talk show on WCKG-FM. Married Marcy in 1988, son Dave was born in '91. Was a contestant on ABC's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" in 2000, won $125,000. Fair amount of travel -- one fun trip was a Beatles tour of Liverpool. Got to ride the Magical Mystery Tour bus, stopped in Blackburn, Lancashire, and got to be a "hole" for a magazine photo.
