About Me	I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1996 and was commissioned a 2ndLt in the USMC. Since 1996, I've been on active duty in the Marines as a helicopter/tiltrotor pilot. I've been on 4 major deployments including OIF I and OEF (and a bunch of shorter CONUS deployments and a 3 month stint in Korea). I piloted one of the first aircraft to cross the border into Iraq during the initial invasion, and spent 8 months flying missions in Iraq. After returning from that deployment, I went the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA and got an MS in Management and subsequently was stationed at MCB Quantico, VA at HQMC sitting behind a desk. From there I returned to Jacksonville, NC for transition training to become an MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor pilot. I spent three years flying th MV-22 and serving in senior leadership positions with VMM-261 and with MAG-26. Ten months of this time was spent in Afghanistan as a member of the first V-22 squadron to deploy to Afghanistan. I am selected to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and am now at NAS Patuxent River, MD serving in the V-22 Joint Program Office.
