About Me	Lewiston High School Class of 1962 University of Maine @ Gorham Graduate Degree, Library Media - CU Denver Graduate Degree - School Admin. CU Boulder Upon graduating from college, I taught at Hawaii Community College on the Big Island of Hawaii for a year. Came back to the mainland and taught at Timothy Edwards Middle School in South Windsor, Connecticut. Was drafted in the military but was able to enlist in the Air Force as an officer. Moved to Denver and stayed with my Brother while waiting for my OTS class. I was substitute teaching in Denver where I met my wife Joel. We dated for a couple of months. After OTS, I went to pilot training and after 12 hours in twin engine jets, I washed out on a medical. Married Joel a year after we met. We spent the remainder of my Air Force commitment in Plattsburgh, New York. We settled in Denver and I taught in the Englewood Public School for the next 27 years, 15 of those years teaching Computer Technology at Colorado's Finest Alternative High School.
