About Me	Married to Debbie for 41 years. We have 4 children: Jim, Anna, John, and Jeremy. Anna, John, and Jeremy are triplets. John and Jeremy are deceased. We have 3 grandsons: Luke, Landon, and Cooper. Love traveling, hiking, and visiting lighthouses with wife and daughter. Love watching my 3 grandsons playing sports and other various activities that they are involved with. I really like going to Notre Dame football games with my wife and grandsons. My son, grandsons, and i are big IndyCar and Indy 500 fans. If there is race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, you will find us there. I have one of the largest Auto Racing memorabilia collections in Indiana. Involved in auto racing most of my life in various roles. Member of over-the-wall pit crew for 6 Indianapolis 500s (1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1981). Raced in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and United States Auto Club (USAC) in Formula Ford, Formula Ford 2000 (SCCA/USAC), Formula Continental, and Formula Super Vee from 1973 to 1983, Raced in Skip Barber Formula Ford and Formula Dodge from 1992 to 1999 in the Skip Barber Midwestern Race Series. Raced in a couple of SCCA Formula Atlantic races and 1 SCCA/USAC Formula 5000 race. Assisted teams on 4 other Indianapolis 500s; Drove race cars for 24 years. U.S. Navy 1976 to 1982 (Honorable Discharge). Served on two ships U.S.S, Sierra (AD-18) and U.S.S. Trippe (FF-1075). Took a 9 year hiatus (1983 - 1992) from racing to get a college de...(read more)
