| About Me | I love spending time with my granddaughters, my family, and my friends. I sponsor a rescue horse named Teddy at my granddaughter's animal sanctuary every month and love to visit him. I was married to the love of my life, Sgt. Bob Nelson of the Elgin Police Department for over 27 years until his passing in 2019. Bob and I enjoyed designing and building our own home in 1999, where I still reside today. Missing my old horse riding days with Lady who I received from my parents in 5th grade, I've decided to take up horseback lessons with my youngest granddaughter.
