About Me	I began working as a secretary at Oakland Intermediate Schools, which provides various services to all of the local school districts in Oakland County. I was trained in programming on the job, and eventually left to join Volkswagen of America, Inc. when VW was building the Rabbit in Pennsylvania. I designed systems/programs and was project leader for purchasing, inventory, and receiving areas in what we now call an IT department. I "retired" to have a family in 1986. The three kids are now in high school and college, and I went back to work at a local department store 5 years ago to pick up insurance coverage. We moved to central NY state 7 years ago, so the kids could live in the country (we'd lived in Grosse Pointe since 1984), but my husband hates it here. We kept the house in MI, and...(read more)
