About Me	Had two wonderful boys; divorced twice; moved to Larned and then to Lawrence to get my education. Graduated from KU in 1999 and am working for the KDHE, testing water quality in lakes, wetlands, streams, and rivers across the state. My oldest son and his wife are expecting in May and the youngest is working in Cabelas in Kansas City. I am currently living with a wonderful man and we plan on doing some traveling after I am able to retire, hopefully in 3 years 11 months from the state. We are both interested in watergardening and flowers and have a large pond and gardens where we live in Old West Lawrence. I still have dogs and cats but I don't get to ride anymore although I have good friends that own Kiger mustangs so I can still get a horse fix when I need to. My latest hobby has become photography and since I see some very beautiful country across Kansas I get to take a lot of photos. I have had several published in Kansas Magazine and in several national water garden magazines. Probably the most unique thing I have done recently is assisting in research with a local retired biology teacher who has been counting the bat population in Barber and Comanche counties for years.
