| About Me | I guess first off I should state I changed my name from J.J. (Johnni J.) Hanson to Kaijson Z. Noilmar for spiritual reasons in 2003 and changed my last name this year after divorcing from my husband of eight years. I now go by Kaijson Z. Tertius. My first name means the bringer of light. I played football for the U of W with HS teammates Ricard Thomas and Ernie Conwell before sidelined with back surgery. I completed my degree work at PLU where I became an All-American wrestler in my first year. During that time and after I coached with Tom Ingles and company, including current head coach Rex Norris and the grandfather of kentwood football coaching Kurt Phelps. I became head coach of the Issaquah wrestling team where i stayed for two years while pciking up a administrator role at cross-town rival Tahoma High School as their Activities Director before taking on the Head Football position at Stanwood High School. Where among other bad decisions I was afforded some time away so to speak for a couple of years. After which time I reemerged on the professional scene thriving and biting towards success connecting with several other conks off ands on with and through different projects. Soon found my way working as a public health official and speaker around the globe on lgbt leadership and health and wellness. today I work as a social architect and digital strategist while being entertained by several colleges and universities to complete the development of a new discipline called social architecture- both exciting and daunting. Most recently Ive been excited to begin working with Richard Thomas, still best of friends on supporting a new and most vital project that will touch the lives of every college student in this country and beyond. Stay Tuned! Ive been married twice (ex-wife 97-2001, ex-husband 2004-2013), recently was on the washington united for marriage equality team as their digital strategist and social architect helping pass the 1st bill of its kind in the united states, ive written several papers and other published pieces around public health and specifically the lgbt communities and directed HIV/AIDS clinical trial research for the United States for underrepresented populations, working with the White House and the CDC, and other leaders across the globe on issues of community engagement and leadership, aided in and the development of the nations first real comprehensive community based AIDS Strategy advising the White House Office of HIV/AIDS and its AIDS.gov team along with working with the CDC around its capacity building and research arms. I have been up and I have been down (down deep) and into locked cages behind tall and dreary walls, and back up again and then into the blah of unknowningness and not so much back again, but forward. Writing another book and making sure I laugh and smile a lot. Look forw...(read more) |
