Class of 1972
Army, 20+ Years
Drafted in to the Army in 1972, as Field Artillery Private in Turkey. In 1979 completed College and became an Army Officer in the Military Police Corp though ROTC. Completed assessments as a Platoon Leader in Germany, Company Commander at FT Irwin, CA. Staff Officer at FT Shafter, HI. Provost Marshal at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, CO, and Tooele Army Depot. Positions held during the above assessments are; 8” Projectile Assembler, Dinning Facility/Motor Pool Officer, MP Investigation/Military Working Dog/SRT Chief, S-4, Electronic Warfare Officer, USCINCPAC Liaison Officer, and Guard Force Augmentation Officer to the Philippines. Retired in 1996 as the Provost Marshal of Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) and then returned to TEAD as the Chief Law Enforcement Division in 1999. Dec 2003 moved over into a new position as Antiterrorism Officer and then in Jan 2008 was asked to move into the Personnel Security Manger slot.
Other duties as assigned are OPSEC/SEDA, Hand Receipt Holder for the Law Enforcement and Security Branch Property Book, and Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) for the Contract Guards.
Special interests are Boy Scout , Order of the Arrow, and family enjoyment. A family of Marilyn A. Koch (wife) and two sons, Devin A, and Kyle A..

Drafted in to the Army in 1972, as Field Artillery Private in Turkey. Returned in 1974 to the United States to complete 4 years Reserve Service and for a Full Ride Football Scholarship at the University of Montana - Western. In 1979, completed College and became an Army Officer in the Military Police Corp, Regular Army, though Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Completed assessments as a Platoon Leader and Executive Officer in Germany, Company Commander at Fort Irwin, California. Staff Officer at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Provost Marshal at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Colorado, then at Deseret Chemical Depot, and Tooele Army Depot near Tooele Utah.
Positions held during the above assessments are; 8” Projectile Assembler, Dinning Facility & Motor Pool Officer, Military Police Investigation, Military Working Dog Officer-in-Charge, Special Reaction Team Chief (ie S.W.A.T.), Battalion Logistics Officer, Electronic Warfare Officer, United Stated Central Pacific Command - Liaison Officer, and Guard Force Augmentation Officer to the Philippines. Retired in 1996 as the Provost Marshal of Tooele Army Depot and then returned to Tooele Army Depot as the Chief Law Enforcement Division in 1999. In December 2003 moved over into a new position as Antiterrorism Officer and then in January 2008 was asked to move into the Personnel Security Manger position.

Special interests are Family Outings, Family Traveling, and Family Home life. The family: Marilyn A. (wife of 44 years (2019)) and two sons, Devin A., and Kyle A.
