| About Me | I have Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (I'm one of Jerry's kids) and am living life to the fullest even with my disease. Thank God I have a wonderful and loving husband who knows what it is like to live with a handicap. Graduated James Hillhouse High School "'Class of 1966." Married Donald F. Moore Sr. in 1967. Had a son Donald F. Moore Jr. (deceased) in 1996. Met Bruce N. Blake in 1985 and married in 1995. I worked for over 14 years at United States Surgical and 9 years at Connecticut Hypodermics as a Quality Control Inspector in final inspection. I'm one of Jerry's kids only I'm grown. I have Muscular Dystrophy (limb-girdle) and damage to the balance in my brain due to a fall I sustained at Connecticut Hypodermics. It was very difficult to continue working with all these problems. I retired from Connecticut Hypodermics in 2007 to go on Social Security Disability. I manage to get around with the help of a rolling walker.
