Gentry is also a member of MENSA, Sunrise Rotary, Foster Care Advocates, Grace Church & American Screen Writers Assoc (ASA). She is on the board of Foster Kids Fund and the Foster Parent Association. Doris co-teaches parenting classes and enjoys marriage to hubby Jim, plays with Aussie Dog Dotty (a pound rescue and delight) reads, writes and sings.
