Favorite School Memory	At least this was the most vivid: On the way home from our senior trip to Washington D.C., the flight was BUMPY, to say the least. About Me	I really didn't have any clear goals for the future at the time we graduated. Consequently, I floated around -- in-and-out of school, from one thing to the next, until I enlisted in the Army in 1983, started jumping out of airplanes, served with the 5th Special Forces Group, was selected for officer training and was commissioned, and served with the 18th Airborne Corps/82nd Airborne Division in Desert Shield/Storm, 1990-91. Shortly after returning to Fort Bragg, NC, I became a follower of the Lord Jesus (June 1991), was called into vocational ministry (Sept 1992), resigned my commission in the Army to go to seminary (Jan 1993), and have been in Christian ministry and church leadership ever since. After 10+ years pastoring in New Orleans and Iowa, I now serve as the senior pastor at Bethesda Church, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (since Aug. 2007), where my wife Shelly is also our worship leader, women's ministry leader, and administrative and ministry assistant.
