About Me	OK all you guys that kept asking me to join -- I'VE DONE IT. Not sure what I'm doing but guess I'll learn. I was born & raised in Houghton, got married in 1969 & separated/divorced in 1993. I have two children - Dawn who is married to Dave Plaska & Jerry that is single but spoken for. I have four grandchildren Candace 15 & Connor 10 from Dawn & Emma 10 & Jayden 2 months from Jerry. They all live in Virginia. I have two dogs that moved here with me - both rescue dogs. I have a black lab mix Maggie age 14 (SHE LOVES THE SNOW) & a brown/white Cocker Spaniel Ripples age 12 (SHE "HATES" THE SNOW). I moved away from Houghton in 1970 & moved back in 2006 to help my parents. My dad has Alzheimers & my mom needed help sooooooo, I gladly quit my job of 14 years & now reside with my parents in the same bedroom I grew up in. I was waiting for my mom to need help as I wanted to move back here & I guess needed an excuse. The very best thing that came out of my moving back was getting to know my sisters.
