About Me	Married for 13 years this May 11...what a rollercoaster ride! We've had our ups and downs, maybe a few more downs than most, but once people learned that we needed to have our feelings as a couple respected, things have been so much better! To those who have stood by us and supported us through the hard times, Thank You!! We may miss some parties, or get togethers, but that's life, it gets busy and sometimes we just need to take the time to focus on the two of us. I love my husband with all my heart and will not let anyone or anything tear us apart! Here's to an eternity Scott, love you!! One LOVED little Jojo!! Can't believe how much he's mellowed out in the 1.5 years that we've had him!! Love of my life!! No better drug for me than spending time with that little snugglebummies!! And ohhhhh how he makes me laugh!! Chasing his tail, I swear one day he's going to catch it!! He loves his little stuffed Lamby so much that I've decided to quit buying him toys...he'll dig that toy out of the bottom of the box if he has to!! Crazy Jojo!! Still working at Albion MS, and still loving it! I'm finding that if you respect the kids, they'll respect you right back! Some of them this year are so great!! Will actually miss them next year. Finally finished Pharmacy Tech program in December and I aced all of my classes! I don't think I got less than an A- in any of them, go me! Finished my externship at the Draper Harmon's on Jan 3 2013, such a wonderful group of people to work with, hope I can find a job with people as great as they were, they are very muchly missed!! Took the harder National Exam the end of December and passed it!! Got my Pharm Tech certification Jan 14 and my license on Jan 18! So happy that I discovered something I LOVE and stuck with it, now to find a job...to be continued. Had a reject and reset with George in January. 2 days after I turned in all my license paperwork no less! Thanks to a great Doc for catching it and getting me taken care of! Those 2 crazy weeks consisted of 1 kidney biopsy which showed a severe rejection, 3 days of IV Solumedrol which didn't do much, a 5 day stay in the hospital getting a PICC line placed in my left arm, while in the hospital room, put back on all the meds when you first get your transplant, lots of benadryl and a heavy duty anti-reject drug called Anti-Thymocyte Globulin. Not recommended to those allergic to rabbits. That's right, Rabbits!! Hehe!! 2 days of ATG outpatient, a few close follow up visits and I'm as good as new...well, almost! My creatinine level is now holding steady at 2.0/2.1 instead of 1.4/1.6, as long as I've still got a working kidney I'm happy! :) April 28 2013 will be 3 years that we'll have been together, happy 2nd birthday to me!! I still encourage all of you to become organ donors!! Especially kidney donors, living donors rock the house baby!! And think of all the recognition you get! You'll be someone's HERO for life! Save a life, Be a donor!! I am grateful for all of the friends I have, non-FB and FB alike!! You mean so much to me, helped me through hard times and shared in my happy/smiley times. Thank you! I still constantly think about my kidney donor and his family. They are never ever far from my mind.
