| About Me | Since graduating from HHS in 1966, I attended college, and became a registered nurse. I continued my education, became a pediatric nurse practitioner and specialized in oncology. When my husband, Bill, decided to retire17 years ago, as a Professor of Biology, we moved to New Mexico. I was not quite ready to retire, so I am currently teaching nursing and truly enjoying it. Bill and I became Rotarians and have made several humanitarian trips to Guatemala. These trips included clean water, school and hospital projects. We have written several grants in order to obtain funding for these projects. I have contributed time and funds to Storehouse West, which is the food and children's clothing bank for our county.
