I am happily married and making a house into a home with my husband James. I was supposed to be a journalist when I grew up but am now a communications consultant. I love being able to spend time with my family and friends, digging in dirt, and getting the opportunity to travel and experience new foods and culture. I love finding treasures (James call it junk of course) when I travel so that I have something to remember my travels by as I eventually move into the doddering old woman years of my life. I am a neurotic Virgo who likes to be in control (or at least pretend to be) and I am loyal and dedicated to my family, friends, and work. I am really happy when I feel needed and when I feel like I was able to make someone else happy. I am also number one maid for the three cats, Mr. Bailey, Spazzle Dazzle and The Punk. Apparently I have also become the new local food bank for wildlife in my neighborhood as well. I dig cheese, a good glass of wine, and the opportunity to read a good book or grab a nap. Naps are SO underrated! If I win the lottery, I will have a B&B that specializes in cheese and local Virginia wines, a lovely garden you can get lost within, and a field of fainting goats!
